Extra-curricular activities are an integral part of a well-rounded education, and at Vandana School, we believe in providing our students with a variety of opportunities to explore their interests and passions beyond the classroom. Whether it’s sports, music, art, or community service, our extra-curricular activities are designed to help our students grow and develop in ways that go beyond academic achievement.
Sports are a great way for our students to stay active and healthy while also developing important skills like teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship. We offer a range of sports programs including basketball, football, volleyball, badminton, and athletics, all of which are led by experienced coaches who are dedicated to helping our students reach their full potential.
Music and art programs are also an important part of our extra-curricular activities. We have a dedicated music room where students can learn to play a variety of instruments including guitar, piano, and drums. Our art program encourages creativity and self-expression, and students have the opportunity to experiment with a variety of mediums and techniques.
NDA CLASSES
he National Defence Academy (NDA) is one of the most prestigious institutions in India, offering world-class training for the country’s future military leaders. At Vandana School, we understand the importance of preparing our students for the challenges of the future, and that’s why we offer NDA classes to help students who aspire to join the armed forces.
Our NDA classes are designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and training needed to excel in the NDA entrance exam. Our experienced faculty members are highly qualified and dedicated to helping our students achieve their goals. We offer a comprehensive curriculum that covers all the topics that are essential for success in the NDA exam, including mathematics, English, general knowledge, and reasoning.
Our classes are conducted in a supportive and nurturing environment that encourages students to ask questions, explore new ideas, and work collaboratively with their peers. We also provide individual attention to each student, ensuring that they receive the guidance and support they need to succeed.
HOUSE MEET
House meets are an important activity at Vandana School that foster a sense of community and friendly competition among our students. Our school is divided into four houses – Blue, Green, Red, and Yellow – and each house has its own captain and vice-captain who lead and organize house activities.
House meets are held several times throughout the academic year and bring students from all classes together to participate in a range of events and competitions. These events include sports competitions such as football, basketball, and volleyball, as well as academic competitions such as quizzes, debates, and science fairs.
ASSEMBLY
Assembly is an important activity at Vandana School that brings our entire school community together for a time of reflection, inspiration, and celebration. Our morning assembly is held every day before classes begin, and it is a time for students, teachers, and staff to come together and start the day on a positive note.
During assembly, we have a range of activities and presentations that help to set the tone for the day ahead. This includes reciting the school prayer, singing the national anthem, and sharing important announcements and updates. We also have a range of guest speakers who come to address the students on a variety of topics such as leadership, character building, and community service.
